NEWS: During the "Green Week 2015" Uzbekistan has signed contracts for export of fruits and vegetables, textile products in the amount of $ 130 million .

- As previously reported, from January 15 to 25, the capital of Germany hosted the world's largest annual international agricultural fair "Green Week-2015." This year it was attended by about 1,600 companies and farms from 67 countries, including Uzbekistan.
In the framework of participation in the exhibition there was a presentation of economic and agricultural potential of Uzbekistan with the participation of over 120 representatives of German companies. The event participants were informed about the current economic development of the country, the measures taken to modernize and technological re-equipment of industrial enterprises, further improvement of the business environment, the priority areas of investment cooperation that are established within the framework of special industrial zones in Uzbekistan.
Due to the results of the exhibition, contracts and agreements for export to European countries, the horticultural and textile products in the amount of more than $ 130 million had been signed.
