NEWS: Chemical production in Uzbekistan increased by 8.9% .

- Stable development of the chemical industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan contributed to the increase of production compared to the corresponding period of the last year by 8.9% with an amount of 4.11 bln. soums. The share of industry in total industrial production made up 5.5% against 5.4% in the previous year.
During the reporting period companies provided the exceeding level of following products: super phosphate (2 times), fungicides (1.7 times), urea (1.2 times), sodium nitrate (117.6%), ammonium nitrate (114.6%), nitric acid, and sulfonitric acid (114.7%), potassium chloride (113.9%), anhydrous ammonia (108.6%), sodium cyanide (103.9%).
In addition, also increased production of goods made of plastic: plates, sheets and films by 2.5 times, canteen and kitchen ware by 2.2 times, packaging products by 1.9 times.
